Terms of Service

Last updated July 16, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Rent Us Homes website and our concierge service. By using the site, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.

What we do

Rent Us Homes helps renters find homes in Durham and the Triangle. We list available rentals, and our concierge works to match you with a home based on the preferences you share — including homes we don't list ourselves. Our service is free to renters.

What we ask of you

  • Give us accurate information so we can actually help.
  • Use the site for your own genuine rental search, not to scrape, resell, or misuse our listings or other people's information.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site.

Listings and availability

We work hard to keep listings accurate, but availability, pricing, and details can change quickly and some information comes from third parties. We can't guarantee that a home shown is still available or that every detail is current. Nothing on the site is an offer or a binding lease — a lease exists only once you and a property owner sign one.

Fair housing

We are committed to fair housing. We do not discriminate, and we won't honor requests to steer or exclude on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected class. Our guides and matches describe places, homes, and logistics — not who should live where.

Communications

If you sign up, we'll email you with your consent and you can unsubscribe from any message. Text messages are sent only if you opt in. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Limits

The site and service are provided “as is.” We do our best, but we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of it. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Durham County, North Carolina.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; if we do, we'll change the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version. Questions? Email [email protected].
